His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, may God protect him, issued Resolution No. (43) of 2025 to reconstitute the Supreme Committee for the Care of Persons with Disabilities, based on the offer of the Minister of Social Development, and after the approval of the Council of Ministers, it said:
Article 1
The Supreme Committee for the Care of Persons with Disabilities headed by the Minister of Social Development, and the membership of each of:
1- Assistant Undersecretary for Care and Social Rehabilitation – representing the Ministry of Social Development
2- Member of the Supreme Council for Women – representing the Supreme Council for Women
3- Director of wage department and job benefits – representing the Civil Service Service
4- Director of the Educational Operations Department region 1 – Representative of the Ministry of Education
5- Director of the Department of Labor Relations – representing the Ministry of Labor
6- Consultant doctor in government hospitals – representing the Ministry of Health
7- Chairman of the Bahraini Paralympic Committee – representing the Bahraini Federation for the Sports of the Disabled
8- Chairman of the Committee for Complaints, Monitoring and Follow -up – representing the National Human Rights Corporation
9- Financial Secretary of the Bahrain Association for Children with Difficulty in Conduct and Communication – representing the Bahrain Association for Children with Difficulty in Conduct and Communication
10- Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahraini incentive Association for Disabilities
11- Member of the Board of Directors of the Bahraini Childhood Development Association – representing the Bahraini Association for Childhood Development
The bodies stipulated in the items (2), (6) and (11) of the previous paragraph are determined by those who represent it in the membership of the committee.
The term of membership in the committee is two years, renewable.
The members of the committee are elected vice president at the first meeting of the committee.
Article Two
The ministers – each regarding it – must implement this decision, and it is made from the date of its issuance, and it is published in the Official Gazette.
