Today, the activities of the 100th Day campaign will start for the third year in a row.
Dr. Islam Assaf, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Matrouh, explained that the initiatives of the President of the Republic, including the “100 million health” campaign aimed at improving the health of all citizens of all ages and groups, by providing initiative services intensively in a period of 100 consecutive days.
The start of a 100 -day health campaign in its third year in Matrouh Governorate
The Undersecretary added that the campaign will be implemented starting tomorrow, Tuesday 15 July, for a period of 100 days, through the fixed teams inside hospitals and health units, in addition to moving teams with a number of citizens’ gathering points such as beaches, squares, mosques and gardens, which will work in the morning and evening.
Pointing out that the campaign provides early detection services for chronic diseases, early detection of kidney disease, the initiative to detect weakness and hearing loss in newborns, detection of genetic diseases in newborns, initiative to examine those coming to marriage, initiative to care for the mother and fetus,, initiative to examine and treat cancerous tumors, initiative to eliminate waiting lists.
This is in addition to providing many primary care services and preventive medicine services such as vaccinations, environmental health, environmental monitoring, dairy drainage and food control.
The Undersecretary stressed that the medical teams are ready to start work starting tomorrow, Tuesday, according to the plan established, stressing the availability of all requirements and publications, in addition to the full coordination between the technical departments concerned with the directorate and the effective participation of civil society institutions to ensure the regularity of mobile and fixed teams throughout the campaign period.
All the families of the governorate and visitors of the province call for a speedy heading to the nearest health unit or a mobile car to benefit from the services of the campaign provided to all for free.
