The Saudi Al -Nasr Club announced that the Portuguese coach, Georgi Jesus, will officially sign the first football team during the next season, in a move that reflects the “global” ambition to compete locally and continental, starting from the Saudi Super Cup semi -finals.
An official signature in Riyadh
Jesus, 71, arrived in the Saudi capital, where he signed a contract for one season, in preparation for the start of his technical mission with victory. In its official statement, the club confirmed that the signing was before the start of the preparatory team camp, which begins on July 17, as part of the intensive preparations for the new season.
Triple preparation plan
The victory administration has developed a comprehensive preparation plan for 30 days, starting with the gathering of players in Riyadh, then heading to Austria on July 20 to establish a camp that extends until August 4, followed by a transfer to Portugal until August 11, before going into the last stage in Hong Kong. During this period, the team will play five friendly matches, including three in Austria, including a first confrontation against a team of amateurs, and two in Portugal, most notably against Lyon, French.
The super location on the horizon
Al -Nasr is scheduled to conclude its preparations with a strong confrontation against Al -Ittihad on August 18th, in the semi -finals of the Saudi Super Cup, which is the first official test of Jesus with the team, which puts it under the microscope from the beginning.
