The Kingdom of Bahrain has officially obtained the right to host the twenty -sixth edition of the Arab Championship for the National Men’s Basketball Team, after the Tunisian Federation apologized for organizing the event.
Bahrain’s obtaining Bahrain’s hosting of this great Arab forum came after the Bahrain Basketball Federation submitted an urgent request to the Arab Federation to host the tournament, in implementation of the vision of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Hosting and organizing championships at the Gulf, Arab and continental levels.
The tournament is scheduled to start on its scheduled date, on July 25, and will continue until August 2, as it will witness the participation of a group of Arab teams in competitions expected to be strong and exciting.
The Bahrain Basketball Federation expressed its pride and pride in the confidence of the Arab Federation for the game, stressing its keenness to organize a distinguished version that elevates the name of the championship, and reflects the civilizational and sports image of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and enhances its position as a permanent destination for major sporting events.
