This comes after the FIFA decided to give a prize of 40 million dollars in the event of winning the final match only and crowning the tournament, unlike other financial prizes for participating in the championship and winning the group stage and qualifying for the quarter -finals and the semi -finals.
FIFA explained earlier that the reward for the European team’s participation in the Club World Cup will range between 12.8 million dollars and 38.19 million dollars, according to the results achieved by the team during its career in the competition.
Chelsea also won one million dollars for each victory in the group stage, along with 7.5 million dollars as a result of qualifying for the round of 16, 13 million dollars after qualifying for the quarter -finals, and 21 million dollars after qualifying to the semi -finals, in addition to 30 million dollars after qualifying for the final match, so that the total financial team prizes reach 125 million dollars, according to reports, equivalent to 6 billion and 250 million Egyptian pounds.
