A few years ago, Paris visited a light -ranging transit visit for a night, during which I lived in a small apartment that I booked through a site specialized in travel, and I did not notice that it was not air -conditioned.
And the experience of housing in that apartment was bitter, as I had to spend a full night in the extreme heat, so my attempt to open the window did not succeed in making the air adjusting the atmosphere inside the apartment.
I faced a worse situation when I toured the streets of Paris – which lacked air -conditioned places – the next morning, the sun was incendiary, and I affected my activity a lot.
Then I realized that the coldness of the air in Europe has become a matter of the past, and that visiting its countries during the summer months has a risk and a waste of money.
The matter was similar when my last visit to London, in which roaming during the day became exhausting; Due to the high temperature, humidity and the scarcity of air -conditioned locations, London – which the cold weather was a great attraction – is no longer cold as it was in the past.
Therefore, it was not surprising when an opinion was raised in the British newspaper “The Venenensal Times” urges the necessity of taking the issue of air -conditioning installation in both Britain and Europe seriously. Heat waves have become more severe, recurrent and long in recent years.
The newspaper cited scientific models showing that the number of deaths is expected to rise by up to 150 % in Barcelona, London and Paris during the severe heat waves in the event that there are no solutions to cooling on people.
It turns out that only 5 % of the houses in Britain are air -conditioned and the percentage decreases in Germany to 3 % , so the houses in northern Europe specifically are designed to face the severe cold, not free.
Also, the high electricity bill is another reason for people away from installing air conditioners. Old homes in Britain, built in the nineteenth century – represent at least 17 % of the number of houses – need complex engineering solutions to add the air conditioner.
According to multiple studies, it turned out that the quality of sleep decreases if the room temperature reaches 23 degrees Celsius and the productivity of the employee, in addition to the level of the student’s academic achievement deterioration after the temperature of the place exceeds 35 degrees Celsius, so the free hurts the person, and eliminates his abilities to do many activities.
In Britain and Europe, temperatures reach above 35 degrees Celsius a repeated matter throughout the summer. Which exposes them to the risk of stopping business and decreasing performance if the air conditioners continue to be available.
And advice for those who plan to travel to Europe or London in the coming weeks to make sure not to go out during the daytime and resort to shadow during the tour of tourist areas and markets as well as a lot of drinking water, these two regions no longer provide the usual gentle atmosphere, but their atmosphere became more like the Gulf atmosphere and its “warm” sun!

When the Singaporean Prime Minister «Li Quanu» was asked about the secret of the amazing development of Singapore during the second half of the twentieth century, he set two reasons; The first is the spread of tolerance between a multi -ethnic people and the second is the presence of air conditioners ..!
