What is known as the coordination of joint work for Palestine, which is based in Tunisia, has announced the start of equipment to launch a new version, known as the Maghreb steadfast fleet to break the Israeli siege on the Gaza Strip, as part of an international marine operation aimed at breaking the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip for more than 18 years.
The coordination explained in a press conference that the convoy will head a sea from Tunisia to Gaza after its crossing from Libya to Egypt stalled a wild June last June, noting that the convoy will be an integrated marine operation that starts from ports in North Africa and southern Europe, and in coordination with international organizations such as the Freedom Fleet, and Global March to Gaza.

She pointed out that the Hanzala ship will start on July 13 from the Italian port of Sarkoussa towards Gaza, as part of the movement of the global resilience fleet, in a new attempt to break the maritime blockade imposed on the sector.
Ghassan Hancheri, a spokesman for the convoy, had told Cairo 24 earlier that the impossibility of completing the convoy after stopping in the Libyan city of Sirte prevented its passage due to the lack of entry permits and visas necessary to cross the border.
A spokesman for the convoy indicated that those responsible for the convoy and its organizers sought to obtain the necessary permits through diplomatic methods, and they were unable to obtain it for the passage of the convoy.
He explained that the Libyan authorities arrested a number of members of the convoy, and there are attempts to release them in preparation for their departure from the Libyan lands for their return to Tunisia, for not being able to complete the convoy.
Earlier, the Ministry of Interior in the Libyan government denied the validity of what was circulated about the Libyan authorities to prevent the Algerian-Tunisian convoy from continuing its way through the city of Sirte without justification, stressing that the participants in the convoy did not meet the legal conditions required for transit.
