I arrived at Bahrain Airport in preparation for a treatment trip with my mother. Nothing exceptionally in the scene, until I met a Bahraini young man on the reception platform. He was not wearing a manager’s cloak, nor sat behind a luxury office, but he provided a service equal to a lot.
His name was “Amin”, and it is sufficient that his name summarized his character. He did not ask much, he did not ask for additional papers, we were not weighted with routine questions. All he did to listen, then smiled, then he began to recite the plane seats calmly and gently, as if he was arriving at his comfort chairs, not our seats.
That type of employee who makes you feel that you are not a stranger … but a guest in his house.
In a moment, a simple procedure turned into a human experience. It was not merely a modification of the seats, but rather a professional bias for taste, and a profound understanding of the role of the real employee; That which is not satisfied with performing the required, but rather adds from himself what makes others remember him long, not because his name is distinctive, but because his presence is so. Then we went up to the plane.
There the scene was repeated, but this time in the air.
A Bahraini crew makes you feel that the homeland did not keep you at the airport, but rather ascended with you to the plane. One of them is good at speaking in more than one language, moving between travelers lightly the professional, and the other is not separated by a smile that stems from a real love for his work, not from administrative orders.
And when they knew that we were on a treatment trip, their interest in us was doubled, as if they were carrying some fatigue.
Only then, I realized that Gulf Air is no longer just a flight. Rather, I turned into an integrated experience that takes you from the place, and moves in you the feeling.
This national establishment, which was and still is one of the symbols of Bahrain, is witnessing today an not only an air fleet and modern technologies, but rather includes the most important element: human.
He is the employee who sees in his work a message, not just a job.
That realizes that the traveler does not always need a first -class ticket, as much as he needs high degree treatment.
The likes of “Amin”, and those who are similar to the sons of this country, are not only representing their workplace, but rather the image of Bahrain in the eyes of others.
They are not just employees .. Rather, faces shake hands with you before they arrive, and hearts accompany you even after leaving.
At a time when the service is measured by speed and technology, there are still those who believe that human warmth is what makes the difference.
How beautiful it is to travel from your country .. You discover that the homeland preceded you, received you, and accompanied you until the plane seat.
Frankly, this is how Gulf Air flies … not only with iron wings, but with wings of creation and loyalty.
Thus, belonging remains higher than every height.
