Erik Shufali, the French Ambassador, Lieutenant General Ahmed Khaled Hassan Saeed, Governor of Alexandria, and the Order of Honor, with the rank of leader, who is one of the highest French decorations, in appreciation of his wealth professional career, his distinguished giving and his efforts in strengthening the bonds of cooperation between Egypt and France.
Celebrating the French National Day in Alexandria
This came on the sidelines of the reception organized by the French Consulate in Alexandria on the occasion of the celebration of the French National Day, and the ambassador explained that this honor comes under the guidance of French President Emmanuel Macron, introducing the governor’s contributions in multiple fields, and in appreciation of his fruitful cooperation with the French side over many years.
For his part, the Governor of Alexandria expressed the depth of historical relations between the Alexandria Governorate and the French Republic, which dates back to centuries since the French campaign, and is embodied today in the fields of scientific, cultural and economic cooperation, through partnerships with the French consulate, the French Institute, the French Development Agency, the French Alexandria Studies Center and the University of Sinjour.
During his speech, the team talked about its distinguished experience in cooperation with the leaders of the French navy, stressing the importance of this cooperation in supporting maritime security in the region and qualifying young generations to play an active role in this vital field.
He also affirmed his great gratitude and appreciation for this high honor, thanking the French President for this medal, which is a medal for the entire Egypt, as well as greeting and gratitude to President Abdel Fattah El -Sisi, President of the Republic, for his permanent support and inspiring vision that put Egypt in its region entitled regionally and internationally, and established the pillars of peace, cooperation and friendship with various countries of the world.
