Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, revealed that the efforts to secure gas and fuel to generate electricity for various industrial activities are going according to the plan.

Madbouly said that the selection ships that were raised about some discussions about the delay in operation, would have entered the service in the first week of July, according to the original plan.

Accelerating operations and requirements for international accreditation

The Prime Minister confirmed in a press conference on Wednesday that the first ship was already scheduled to enter service in the first week of July, and with the outbreak of the Iran -Israeli war, the work teams were asked to speed up operations to start the ship, but this matter requires highly complex technical measures regarding installations and networks.

Madbouly added that the most important of this is that each of the operating steps is approved by international offices abroad, a shipping of this size, and a card of 750 million cubic feet per day, and is linked to the national network, which needs technical works that international bodies must be adopted, and as a result, some of these approved authorities requested additional precautionary measures, which brought back the schedule to the original planned program.

The start of the gas pumping next week and no actual delay

The Prime Minister explained that the two ships will enter the service and start the gas pumping process in the network starting from the beginning of next week.

And the Prime Minister added: Therefore, there is no actual delay except 3 or 4 days to operate the first ship, which came as a result of the technical procedures that cannot be condoned.

Madbouly indicated that Egypt will have 4 changes, in addition to a ship that will go to Jordan to serve Egypt and Jordan together.
