The Luxor City Council carried out an enlarged removal campaign targeting a violating commercial store that assaulted the organization line and closed a side street in the North District, as part of the work of the third phase of the 26 wave that aims to remove encroachments on state lands and construction violations.
Immediate implementation and strict application of the law
The campaign removed the store until the ground level for violating Article 60 of the Building Law No. 119 of 2008, after it was found that it was established without a license on an area of 2 meters x 4 meters with red brick and cement mortar, which caused the closure of a sub -street in the Sheikh Musa area.
The continuation of campaigns and lack of complacency with violators
The city’s president stressed that the removal campaigns are continuing in all neighborhoods, and that it is not negligent with any attempt to infringe on the regulation lines or state property, stressing that the law will be applied firmly to violators, and that the executive bodies are permanently prepared to monitor any violations and deal immediately with them.

The campaign was led by Major General Dr. Ali Al -Sharabi, President of Luxor, under the supervision of Hatem Jaber Salama, Secretary of the City Council, and in full coordination with the Luxor Security Directorate and the city police department,
Ahmed Awadallah, head of North neighborhood, Issam Abdel -Radhi, Deputy Director of the Field Follow -up Department, and Akram Ahmed Musharraf, participated in the engineering administration, as part of a accurate follow -up system for the application of the law on the ground.
