Al -Seef Real Estate Company announced the signing of an agreement with the Electricity and Water Authority to participate in the national program “efficiency” launched by the authority with the aim of raising the efficiency of energy consumption in high -use installations. According to the agreement, each of the sword complex – the suburb of the sword and the sword complex – Al -Muharraq will join the initiative, whereby a number of technical and operational procedures will be implemented that contribute to reducing electrical consumption and raising energy efficiency in line with national standards.
The “efficiency” program comes within the framework of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s strategy to enhance energy sustainability and reduce carbon emissions, to keep pace with regional trends in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries that seek to achieve clean and sustainable energy goals. The program is one of the important national projects that supports the Kingdom’s commitment to achieving carbon neutrality by 2060, as part of the region’s efforts to reduce the effects of climate change and enhance diversity in energy sources.

It is worth noting that this agreement is a new step within the endeavors of the sword real estate company to implement smart and sustainable solutions in its facilities, including the company recently launching a huge solar energy project to provide all its destinations with clean energy, as its total capacity will reach 8.9 MW and is expected to generate about 14,000 megawatts-an hour of clean electricity annually, which contributes to reducing carbon emissions with more From 10,000 metric tons annually.
