The Shebin El -Koum Criminal Court in Menoufia Governorate will consider today, Tuesday, the first sessions of the trial of the accused driver and the owner of the car, which is caused by the death of 19 people on the regional road in the Ashmoun Center, after the referral decision from the Public Prosecution.

The driver faces several accusations, most notably the use of cannabis, metamvitamine, killing and wrong injury, and driving a car against the direction without having a license that allows him to drive a transport vehicle, as well as causing damage to the public road and the property of others.

The Public Prosecution ordered that the driver and the car owner referred to the urgent criminal trial, and assigned the latter to allow the accused to drive the car despite his knowledge that he did not possess a valid driving license, which resulted in the horrific accident that killed 19 people and injured 3 others.
Earlier, the father of one of the victims said in front of the investigation authorities in the regional road accident: I was in my home in Kafr El -Snaps in Menouf Center, and suddenly, Jali is a phone from someone who is known, saying that my daughter was king and the daughter of my brother Shaima worked an accident on the regional road and died, and that their bodies are present in the Ashmoun General Hospital and Quesna General.
The victim’s father, the king of the victim of the regional road accident, added: I went to myself and got to know them, and my daughter has 18 years old, and Shaima bint my brother had 17, and they were going to occupy them in the city of Sadat, but they returned bodies in black bags.
And he continued during the investigations: There are no differences between us and anyone, and he demanded the permit of burial to them, and the accusation of those who tried them and their death with wrongful killing, even if he does not know his name.
