Before the Islam of Bilal, the leaders of the Quraysh heard while talking about the Prophet Muhammad- may God bless him and grant him peace- who came with a religion calling for the worship of monotheism and recommended equality between humans, so when his heart was poured into Islam, he went to the Messenger, announcing his Islam and spreading the news throughout Mecca, so when his master, Umayyah bin Khalaf, heard the news of his Islam with great anger and torture He took a title that inspires Muslims after him to be the approach of their lives and remained adhering to his religion despite the torment, until Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq- may God be pleased with him- presented him and freed him from his master in order to protect the weak.

After the liberation of Bilal, he remained inherent to the Messenger- may God bless him and grant him peace- and immigrated to Medina to prevail in the call to prayer with his sweet voice, and raised his position to fight the infidels next to the Prophet Muhammad in defense of the Islamic call, until the divine ability will become the end of illiteracy bin Khalaf at the hands of Bilal bin Rabah in the Battle of Badr.
Bilal continued to accompany the Messenger Muhammad- may God bless him and grant him peace- until he was with him the day he opened Mecca and entered the Kaaba to purify it from idols, just as his voice was the first voice to crack over the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina, so here he also launched his voice by calling over the Kaaba to remove the parts of Mecca calling for prayer and declaring its liberation from the invasion of the infidels.

Sadness intensified in Bilal bin Rabah after the death of the Prophet Muhammad- may God bless him and grant him peace- and asked for permission to go out to the Levant and participated in the battle of Yarmouk and the conquest of Damascus, and wherever he settled in his foot, he was raising the call to prayer with his voice, and it was said that Bilal participated with Omar bin Al-Khattab in the conquest of Jerusalem and raised the call to prayer there in the Al-Aqsa Mosque the first kiss of Muslims and the third of the two holy Holy Mosques.
Bilal bin Rabah spent part of his life in Damascus until he passed away in the twentieth year of migration, to be buried in the cemetery of the small door, according to the most correct opinion, and that cemetery includes many of the companions’ bodies.
