In the wake of the fire of the main communications building in Cairo, which caused the interruption of telecommunications services in several governorates, the Directorate of Supply in Luxor Governorate announced urgent measures to ensure the continued disbursement of backed bread to citizens without being affected.
Dr. Tamer Salah, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply in Luxor, stressed that the process of disbursing the bread will take place with paper statements if the service is continued, adding: “All the ration facilities have been passed, and starting from five in the morning, we will be at the job to follow up the regularity of the service and solve any problems facing citizens.”
For his part, Mr. Ahmed Taha, Director of Esna Supply Department, stated that all bakeries in the administration are ready to spend bread with paper lists, in order to meet the needs of citizens and ensure that they obtain daily support.
The Directorate of Supply in Luxor confirms that matters are under control, and that it is not necessary to worry, as the full coordination has been completely coordinated with the concerned authorities to continue providing supplies efficiently.
