Dr. Hazem El -Deeb, Deputy Governor of the Lake, continued today, Monday, at the Badr Center and City, the executive position of drinking water and sanitation projects being implemented in the city, in the presence of Eng. Hisham Berber, Head of the Executive Agency for Drinking Water and Sanitation Projects in the lake, and Major General Mohamed Zaid, head of the local unit of the Badr Center and City.

The tour started by inspecting the work of the main sewage treatment and lifting station in Badr City, which is one of the largest projects currently being implemented, as it includes a triple treatment plant, the first of its kind at the governorate level with a capacity of 10 thousand m/day, 2 lifting stations, expelling lines, and about 60 km of slope networks, and its cost reached about 400 million pounds.
The implementation of the processing station and the main lifting station were completed, 40 km from the slope networks, and the remaining work and the extension of the household connections are being completed.
The tour also included inspecting the battle treatment plant project, at a total cost of approximately 500 million pounds, a treatment capacity of 1000 m/day, and the project includes the “battle” lifting station, expulsion lines, slope networks, and the project serves a number of villages: the battle, the struggle, the determination of the Valoga, the Great Hill, the success, Ain Jalut.
These projects are a vital lifeline for the people of the Badr Center, as the importance of adhering to the approved technical specifications and the specified timetable was emphasized.
As well as the continuous coordination between the executive and executing companies and local units, to overcome any obstacles that may affect the progress of work, and pay attention to the quality of implementation and the approved technical standards.
