ABU DHABI – And the mother of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State “may God protect him”, received today Ahmed Al -Shara, President of the Syrian Arab Republic, who is on a work visit to the state. His Highness and the Syrian President – during the meeting that took place at the Beach Palace in Abu Dhabi – discussed brotherly relations between the two countries and ways to enhance their cooperation and joint work, especially in the developmental and economic fields in order to achieve their mutual interests and return with good and growth on their two brotherly peoples. Enhancing the foundations of peace, as the two sides exchanged views on a number of regional issues and issues in common concern, stressing the importance of working to enhance the foundations of peace, security and stability in the East region
