Jamila Al -Nashaba, head of the Women’s Committee of the Bahraini Tennis Federation, stressed the importance of cooperation with special groups and people with determination to integrate them into the women’s training program on land tennis skills, because they constitute an important group of society that cannot be neglected from the sports programs offered by the Federation.
This came during the meeting of the Women’s Committee with Mrs. Maryam Shehab, President of the Bahraini Federation for Deaf Sports, Chairman of the Women’s Committee, Nour Al -Huda Rabie, Chairman of the Public Relations and Information Committee of the Bahraini Federation of Deaf Sports, in the presence of Nila El -Mir, Chairman of the Public Relations and Marketing Committee, member of the Federation’s Women’s Committee and Mr. Fouad Al -Ruwaie, Secretary of the Federation, Adnan Kamal Financial Secretary, this evening at the headquarters of the Bahrain Tennis Federation in Isa City.
At the beginning of the meeting, the young woman congratulated the Chairman and all the new members of the Board of Directors of the Bahraini Federation of Deaf Sports, expressing the desire of the Women’s Committee to enhance joint cooperation with deaf sports and concerted efforts between the two women’s committees to achieve the desired goals, and work in the spirit of the Bahrain team to present a joint training program for deaf women in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Naila El -Mir also welcomed this joint cooperation with the Deaf Sports Federation, wishing all the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors success in their work tasks according to the new formation, as well as the recommendation of Maryam Fouad Shehab, President of the Bahraini Federation for Deaf Sports for the membership of the Bahraini Paralympic Committee, which reflects their desire to develop deaf sport at all levels.
For her part, Maryam Fouad Shehab expressed her thanks to the Tennis Federation for this initiative, noting that the next stage will witness extensive efforts to enhance the presence of deaf sports in the Kingdom in various games, which enables them from various sports skills and enhances them with self -confidence.
Shehab praised the atmosphere of sports competition between women and the Bahraini Tennis Federation headed by Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Mubarak Al Khalifa and all members of the Board of Directors to allocate hours and stadiums for women to practice ground tennis, and the attention they give to achieve equal opportunities between gender.
The members of the Bahraini Federation for Deaf Sports also reviewed the women’s activities and training programs that the Federation offers to women in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in addition to taking a tour of the ground tennis courts and communicating with the players within the women’s training program on ground tennis skills from various levels.
