Railway sources for Cairo 24 revealed that the movement of railway trains on the Alexandria -Cairo line returned to normal a few minutes ago, after the completion of the raising of the effects of the fall of one of the wheels of the 906 train and its return to the bars again.

The accident occurred in the distance between Benha and Quena near the Arab Al -Raml area of the Quesna Center and City in Menoufia Governorate, where the Railways Authority pushed emergency and craft teams to the holidays site to raise the risen vehicle on the bars.
The Railways Authority had prompted the emergency teams and crafts to raise the effects of the back of Al -Bouji’s rear vehicle from the train No. 906 (VIP) from Alexandria to Cairo.

The railway announced that during the path of train No. 906 (VIP) coming from Alexandria to Cairo, Al -Bouji fell to the second vehicle of the train while it was between Quesna and Benha without any injuries or deaths with the stopping of the movement of trains in both directions.
In a statement, the National Railways Authority indicated that the emergency teams and cranes were immediately pushed to raise the effects of the accident and evacuate the lines to operate the movement in both directions.
