Some people may think that the Ashura season and the various activities that accompany it is an event limited to the people of Bahrain from the generous sect, but this belief may have the right of many, whether individuals or parties that contributed directly or indirectly to its success, and even out of its general framework, which is the common national identity.
There are comprehensive coordination efforts that were implemented based on the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Great Country, may God protect and preserve him, and supervised by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, may God protect him for the Ashura season this year, confirms that it is the whole Bahrain season year, Shiites and any other sect that lives in that island.
There was no new matter in the Kingdom’s constant commitment to preserving religious freedoms, whether in Ashura or other occasions, except that the season comes every year to establish these principles, and give them lessons to other countries in the tolerant and generous living method for every person who wants to practice his rituals freely and safely, which appears on religious occasions of foreign sects in Bahrain that were considered within the agenda of basic activities.
His Majesty the Great King, may God protect and preserve him every year, is keen to provide financial support to the funerals, which is a gesture that embodies the patriarchal view of the people of the country from a king who loves all his sons, exchanges with them affection and respect, and sends a clear message to the inside and outside by the comprehensiveness of the high royal care and the great importance that the Kingdom attaches to these rituals, then the societal tissue is completed by the intensive, large and complex works of the state institutions before And during and after the Ashura season.
Here it is possible to monitor some of the parties that have a major role in the season, namely: the Ministry of Interior, which plays security and traffic management efficiently and managing crowds and processions, and maintaining public order day and night, then the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments through the Jaafari Endowments Department to coordinate and supervise all Ashura, funerals and laws in all regions of the Kingdom and meet all its needs.
Here, coordination between the Jaafari Endowments “Justice” and the “internal” governorates is taking place regarding the project of mass transfer of mourners to the interior regions easily, and do not forget the humanitarian initiative provided by the concerned authorities regarding
Allocating buses to transport people with determination, to interfere with the role of the Ministry of Health in this event as a crucial element in providing comprehensive medical services throughout the Ashura period, operating specialized facilities and intensifying health awareness and supervising health standards during the activities.
We do not forget the role of the Capital Secretariat and the municipalities of Muharraq, Northern and South and the proactive activities they have done in preparation for this event, and beyond in terms of maintaining the cleanliness of the streets and enhancing the services provided by all sides under a joint umbrella that expresses the fabric of Bahrain.
A final matter requires talking about it, which was announced by the General Secretariat of Grievances, regarding the guarantee of the religious rights of the inmates of the reform centers, and the verification of their ability to practice their religious rituals completely within the reformist institutions, which adds more moral and legal integrity of the comprehensive government support of Ashura, and shows Bahrain’s commitment to the constitutional principles that the reform project established.
