Engineer Sherif El -Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, held a meeting this morning to follow up the position of drinking water and sanitation projects within the presidential initiative “A decent life” to develop the villages of the Egyptian countryside, in Minya Governorate, and the position of avoiding the observations that were monitored during his recent visit to the governorate, in the presence of the ministry officials, the holding company for drinking water and sanitation, the National Authority for Drinking Water and Sewerage, and the regulatory system For drinking water and sanitation, and the drinking water and sewage company in Minya.
The Minister continued, during the meeting, drinking water and sanitation projects within the first stage of the initiative with 192 villages in centers: Al -Adwa, Maghagha, Abu Qarqas, Mellawi and Deir Mawas, where during the meeting, the minister directed the speedy completion of projects and the operation of projects that were completed to serve the people in these villages.

During the meeting, the executive position of a sewage treatment plant was reviewed at the Samalout Center, and the lifting stations of the associated on it, and in this regard, Eng. Sherif El -Sherbiny directed the intensification of works to finish these works as soon as possible.
Engineer Sherif El -Sherbiny continued, the position of avoiding the observations that were monitored during his recent visit to the “Dreamy Life” projects, including the Al -Safaniya water station, where all the work of the station has been completed, operated and pumping on the network, as well as reviewing the position of the new Al -Adwa water station, where the work of washing filters is currently being carried out, and the feeding lines of some villages and part of the city of Adwa will be pumped at the earliest time.
The Minister also continued the executive position of a sewage station in a harsh, along with the follow -up of the hydraulic study position for the networks of the Al -Adwa drinking water station 1 and 2, and the provision of the generator.
