The team, the engineer of Kamel, the Minister, the Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development, the Minister of Industry and Transport, started a short time ago, an inspection tour of the new regional road, to determine the latest developments in the road maintenance work, according to private sources.
The sources indicated to Cairo 24, that the minister’s tour is now accompanied by Major General Tariq Abdel -Gawad, head of the General Authority for Roads and Bridges, along with a number of leaders of the Ministry of Transport and Traffic Men.
This inspection tour comes to determine the timetable for reviewing the regional road maintenance work, especially after the frequent accident scenes on the road during the past days.
This tour came during the follow -up of the team, the entire minister, due to the developments of a transport vehicle collision and a passenger bus on the regional road in the tenth of Ramadan, a few hours after the accident.

The regional road in the tenth of Ramadan had witnessed a terrible collision between a transport vehicle and a passenger bus, which resulted in a number of injuries, who were transferred to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Immediately, the security services and ambulance teams moved to the accident site as soon as the report was received, and the concerned authorities began initial investigations to determine the causes of the accident and determine the responsibilities.
Directions to study the closure of the regional road in the areas that are witnessing maintenance work
President Abdel -Fattah El -Sisi had directed the government to study taking the necessary measures to close the regional ring road in areas that witness the work of raising efficiency and maintenance, with the status of appropriate and safe alternatives, in order to preserve the safety of citizens and ensure the completion of work as soon as possible.
He also directed the Ministry of the Interior to quickly take legal measures against violators and intensify its efforts during the coming period to impose discipline and adhere to the law on all roads, especially in terms of speed and load to preserve the lives and money of citizens.
