An economic report suggested that Bahrain’s foreign currency reserves reach 6.2 billion dollars during the current year, compared to $ 5.4 billion in 2024, an increase of approximately 14.8%, according to the Arab Investment Association and Export Credit Credit.
The report pointed out that Bahrain’s foreign currency reserves recorded $ 4.8 billion in the year 2023, up to 6.2 billion dollars, according to “guarantee” expectations, meaning that it will rise by $ 1.4 billion in 3 years.
On the other hand, the report expected the basic interest rates to 4.2% during the current year compared to 5.25% recorded during 2024 and 6.25% during the year 2023, and the unemployment rate decreased to 1.06% compared to 1.10% last year.
