The Environment Authority – Abu Dhabi, organized by ADNOC to host a special workshop under the title “Bed of the Gap: The role of environmental services advocates in implementing the Abu Dhabi Waste Management Plan”, gathered the main partners to enhance the role of licensed environmental services advocates in supporting more effective waste management practices and achieving the results of the circular economy. The workshop opened with a general overview of the licensing and organization framework for the waste management sector in the authority, and included an explanation of the process of issuing licenses and permits for waste management activities, the required requirements and documents, and the standards used during inspection operations, in addition to raising common non -compliance issues that were observed on the ground
