Dr. Osama Al -Azhari, Minister of Awqaf, condemned, in the strongest terms, the heinous crime committed by the Israeli occupation by assassinating Dr. Marwan Al -Sultan, Director of the Indonesian Hospital in the Gaza Strip, accompanied by his wife and five members of his family, in a brutal and deliberate targeting of medical cadres and defenseless civilians, within a continuous chain of war crimes and genocide against the steadfast Palestinian people, and its capabilities.

The minister affirmed that this crime is a crime of fully -arganing war, as it involves direct targeting of civilians and civilian notables, and represents a flagrant violation of all humanitarian values and international covenants, and a blatant attack on medical and relief institutions in the besieged Gaza Strip, in a terrible ignorance of all international laws and norms, in addition to the use of starvation as a weapon against the landowners in the besieged sector.
The Minister of Awqaf called on the international community, human rights bodies, and international organizations, to assume their moral and legal responsibilities in stopping this brutal aggression, urgent work to protect innocent civilians, and hold the occupation accountable for its repeated crimes to which humanity is called.
The statement concluded: May God have mercy on Dr. Marwan Al -Sultan and his family, and shroud them with the mercy of his mercy, and inspired their relatives patience and solace, and emptied the people of Gaza with patience and stability, and he wrote victory for them over the enemies of humanity, law and life.
