Syrian President Ahmed Al -Shara launches the new visual identity of the Syrian Arab Republic during an official ceremony held at the People’s Palace in the capital, Damascus, stressing that this identity expresses “one unified” Syria that rejects retail and division.

In his speech during the ceremony, Al -Shara reviewed the symbolic and historical side of the capital, Damascus, describing it as “the first capital that humanity has known,” noting that the Levant was the beginning of the story of the world and its product, as he put it.
The beginning of a new era
The Syrian president held the former regime responsible for what he described as “humiliating an era in the history of the Levant”, referring to the previous periods that the country went through, stressing that the current stage represents the beginning of a new era for Syria.

Features of the new identity
According to SANA, the new identity is inspired by its attributes from a “wounded bird” that symbolizes strength, determination and innovation, and stresses the importance of cultural and ethnic diversity as a thirsty factor, not division.
Rebuilding the Syrian identity
The Syrian President also affirmed that the new identity seeks to restore self -confidence among the Syrians after years of migration, searching for safety, and restoring their position inside and outside the country.
Greetings to the Syrian youth
The Sharia concluded his speech by sending a special greeting to the Syrian youth who contributed to the design of identity, considering that they “have proven that Syria does not lack talent, but rather needs confidence and incubation.”
