17 billion dinars in foreign investments in Bahrain in the first quarter

Bahrain witnessed in the first quarter of 2025 a flow in direct foreign investments, as the foreign investment balances amounted to 17.06 billion Bahraini dinars.

According to the official data issued by the Information and Electronic Government Authority, the financing and insurance sector acquired most of the flows of 10.9 billion dinars, followed by the manufacturing sector with a value of 2.2 billion dinars, then the professional, scientific and technical activities sector with a value of 905 million Bahraini dinars.

While direct investments received from the State of Kuwait acquired the flow of foreign investments received at a value of 5.9 billion dinars, followed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with 3.7 billion Bahraini dinars, and the United Arab Emirates came in the third rank with a value of 1.6 billion dinars, and Libya came fourth with a value of 1.2 billion Bahraini dinars, and India ranked fifth with the value of foreign direct investments received by the quarter annually at a value 718 million Bahraini dinars.
