The Arab Republic of Egypt condemned the statements issued by Israeli officials calling for the inclusion of the occupied West Bank, the latest of which is the statement of the Israeli Minister of Justice.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt expressed its categorical rejection of these statements contrary to international law, aimed at consolidating the illegal occupation of the Palestinian territories, and to undermine the right of the Palestinian people to self -determination and establish an independent state on the lines of June 4, 1967 in the West Bank and Gaza Strip with East Jerusalem as its capital, in the embodiment of the regional unity of all Palestinian territories.
Rejection of military incursions, arrests, and expansion of settlements
The Arab Republic of Egypt stressed its rejection of the blatant Israeli violations in the West Bank, including military incursions, arrests and expansion of the establishment of illegal settlements, in conjunction with the crimes taking place in the Gaza Strip aimed at undermining all the elements of the life of the Palestinian people.
Egypt called on the international community to immediately intervene to put an end to these blatant violations that the Palestinian people are exposed to on their lands, and stresses the need to join the efforts of the international community to achieve the aspirations of the Palestinian people, especially the establishment of their independent state over their entire national soil.
