Al -Azhar University Hospital in Assiut announced that 3 thousand and 100 surgical operations were performed for free, within 3 months that included the month of March, April and May, in continuation of the presentation of Al -Azhar University Hospital in Assiut, specialized health services to the people of Upper Egypt according to the university plan.

This comes under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Salama Dawood, President of Al -Azhar University, and the follow -up of Dr. Mahmoud Seddik, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies, General Supervisor of the University Hospital Sector, and Dr. Mohamed Abdel Malik, Deputy, President of Al -Azhar University for Upper Egypt.
In a previous context, Dr. Ibrahim Shaalan, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the University Hospital in Assiut, said that the past three months have witnessed great success and achievements for Al -Azhar Hospital in Assiut in providing many medical and health services to those who hesitated to it, in addition to sparing them the hardship and travel costs of Cairo to receive treatment services that the hospital provides efficiently.
