The ninth representative of the Northern Municipal Director Abdullah Al -Qubaisi called for an immediate action regarding the Fatima bint Al -Rasoul Mosque, “belonging to the Sunni Endowments”, in the Hamad Town area.
Al -Qubaisi explained that he had received many complaints from the people of the region, indicating that the mosque was established in 1408 AH. He stressed that the Ministry of Justice was addressed to the Sunni Endowments, and several meetings were held with representatives of the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments for several times. Noting the need to implement the directives of His Highness the Crown Prince, the Prime Minister to implement a comprehensive plan for the maintenance, restoration and rehabilitation of a number of mosques in the various governorates of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Accordingly, the Northern Municipal Council requested a field visit to find out the building.
