The Northern Municipal Council supported, the proposal to allocate real estate No. 04014297, located on the 1459 Road, Complex 514, in the Jedd al -Hajj area to create a public park.
The head of the council indicated the representative of the first department d. Sayed Shubr al -Wadai that the property is registered in the name of the government of the Kingdom of Bahrain for the public benefit. He pointed out that there is no garden serving the residents in the village of Jid al -Hajj, in light of the urban expansion and the escalating population increase that needs social entertainment sites.
Al -Wadai explained that he had received demands from the local community in the grandfather of the pilgrim to work to create a garden that provides space for social entertainment.
He stressed that the proposal comes from the keenness to meet the demands of the people in providing a suitable site for social entertainment, and to enhance the goals of the strategic direction in the construction of entertainment sites to contribute to activating the goals of tourism culture.
In addition to contributing to the expansion of the circle of interest in increasing tourism and recreational sites, attention to increasing the green space, emphasizing the strategic trend in adopting the requirements of the sustainable city in garden development projects, and contributing to the introduction of the goals of the national project for sustainable development in municipal projects of social value.
