Dr. Naama Abed, Director of the World Health Organization office in Egypt, praised the inauguration of the new medical center specializing in treating patients with kidney palaces of Sudanese residing in Egypt, stressing that the project is a successful model for joint humanitarian cooperation between several parties.

Abed indicated, during his speech at the press conference to announce the opening of the center, that the project comes with funding from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and in partnership with the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population, stressing that what distinguishes this initiative is not only its technical or therapeutic dimension, but also an expression of a collective commitment to confront an urgent humanitarian crisis.

The UN official explained that the idea started from the need to provide decent care for hundreds of kidney failure patients and kidney transplantation from the Sudanese, who are difficult to treat in light of the current conditions, noting that the center represents a direct response to this healthy gap that cannot be postponed, stressing that the success of this model will be a natural basis for its repetition and expansion in the future, stressing that the health and social impact of the project will extend to The whole society.

He concluded his speech by thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of the project, saying: Thank you to everyone who plans, mall, implemented, and contributed to converting this human effort into a reality that we celebrate today.
