The second round of political consultations between the UAE and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan was held in the capital, Abu Dhabi, headed by Reem Kett, Deputy Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Shahrar Akbar Khan, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Middle East affairs in the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs. These consultations were preceded by a high -level meeting that brought together His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs in Pakistan, on the sidelines of the twelfth session of the joint ministerial committee between the two countries, which was hosted by Abu Dhabi.
