The Drinking Water and Sewerage Company in Kafr El -Sheikh Governorate announced that the water was cut off today, Monday, June 30, 2025, a number of areas in the Desouk Center, due to the implementation of necessary maintenance work on one of the main lines at the entrance to the village of Sinhur Al -Madinah.
The Drinking Water and Sewerage Company in Kafr El -Sheikh, in an official statement issued by it, stated that the water interruption will include the village of Sinhur Al -Madinah, the local unit of the village of Shabas Al -Shuhada, and a number of neighboring villages, provided that the interruption begins from five in the evening and will continue until twelve o’clock in the middle of the night.
The drinking water company in Kafr El -Sheikh indicated that the interruption comes as a result of maintenance work on the main water line No. 630, in front of the village of Sinhour Al -Madinah, with the aim of improving the efficiency of the service and ensuring the continued flow of water at the natural rates after the repair.
The drinking water company in Kafr El -Sheikh appealed to the citizens, bakery owners and hospitals in the affected areas, to take the necessary measures to store their water needs during the interruption period, stressing that the water will be re -pumped immediately after the completion of maintenance work.
