A husband named “Karim Yassin”, one of the hospitals of the Al -Fashn Center, south of Beni Suef Governorate, accused the death of his wife, after undergoing a caesarean section inside the hospital, indicating a medical negligence that led to the deterioration of her condition and death days after she entered intensive care.
The husband said, in a special statement to “Cairo 24”, that he was continuing his wife’s pregnancy with one of the doctors inside his private clinic, and when the date of birth approached, the doctor agreed with him to perform a cesarean operation inside a private hospital, which was already, stressing that his wife’s condition was stable after birth, and that the doctor released “Rushta” with some of the required medications.
He added: “I bought the required medicines for the hospital, and there I met a nurse who was surprised by the amount of medicines and said to me (What are all the needs?!
And the husband continued: “After the injection of about 3 minutes, my times shouted and said (My heart … and I am not able to breathe), and suddenly her heart stopped, but the anesthesiologist has their right and her help, and they transferred her for intensive care, and I sat there 5 days until she died.”
“Karim” indicated that he later discovered that the nurse who gave the injection of his wife holds a technical diploma, confirming that he wrote an official record against the hospital administration and the nurse accuses them of medical negligence.
