Dr. Khaled Abdel Halim, Governor of Qena, announced the imposition of fees to obtain the result of the preparatory certificate in Qena, for the first time, which caused a state of resentment among the parents.

The governor of Qena explained that the Directorate of Education in Qena has identified a website to obtain the result of the preparatory certificate in exchange for an estimated amount of approximately 23 pounds paid immediately, indicating that the website enables students and their parents to obtain the result in addition to the work of grievances instead of going to educational departments or the Education Directorate.
In a related context, a number of parents expressed their dissatisfaction with the decision to impose fees to obtain the result even if it is reduced, stressing that this represents a burden on them in light of the current financial burdens.
Dr. Khaled Abdel Halim, Governor of Qena, approved the result of the preparatory certificate exams for the academic year 2024/2025, with a success rate of 68%, in the presence of Dr. Hazem Omar, Deputy Governor, Hani Antar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in the governorate, and Mustafa Obaid Ali Hamid, Chairman of the System and Monitoring Committee for General Preparatory Certificate.
The governor revealed that the number of students with the final grades in various subjects reached 196 male and female students at the level of the nine educational departments, praising their efforts and superiority, and stressing the keenness of preserving the support of outstanding and care of the gifted, as they are the nucleus of a promising future.
In a humanitarian gesture that reflects his appreciation for excellence and excellence, the Qena Governor made a phone call to a number of first students and their parents, and congratulated them on the honorable results they achieved, wishing them continued success and success in the upcoming educational levels, and calling them to continue diligence and excellence to be an example for their colleagues.
In the context of facilitating parents and students, the governor of Qena announced that a contracting company was contracted to provide the service announcement service electronically, in addition to receiving grievance requests through them, in order to achieve easy access to the result and reduce the crowding within the educational departments, and contribute to saving time and effort.
The result is scheduled to be officially announced in schools next Tuesday morning, to be available to all students at one time, while emphasizing the commitment of schools to provide all the necessary facilities for students who wish to grigger.
Dr. Khaled Abdel Halim stressed that the governorate is making efforts to develop the educational system in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, noting that the advancement of education is the basis of sustainable development and the achievement of Egypt’s 2030 vision.
