The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s welcoming the signing of the governments of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Republic of Rwanda in the American capital, Washington, for the peace agreement, as an important step on the path of ending conflict, and consolidating stability, peace and sustainable prosperity in the Great Lakes region and the African continent.
The Ministry expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s appreciation for the role of the United States of America led by His Excellency President Donald Trump in sponsoring the signing of this historic agreement, mediated by the sisterly State of Qatar, confirming its support for regional and international efforts aimed at ending wars and settling all conflicts through dialogue and peaceful means, in a way that enhances international peace and security.
