In Bahrain, hundreds of years ago, societal coexistence is evident in its best forms, where sectarian and religious diversity constitutes a consistent mosaic painting, highlighting the beauty of unity in the context of difference, and rooting firm values its title; Bahrain first and always.
This solidarity between the people of the homeland was never a slogan raised to achieve immediate interests, but was still a living reality that everyone is witnessing in various occasions and circumstances, as this unit is remarkably embodied with the advent of the forbidden month, so the memory returns to my childhood when the people of Bahrain, with all their spectra, share the revival of the condolence season, in mutual respect for each other Bias.
I still remember how many of the Sunnis participated in their Shiites to visit the funerals, and listen to the preachers listening to the biography of the Al -Bayt. Rather, “Live Al -Hussein” was distributed in the homes of everyone, without discrimination or discrimination.
At that time, politics, partisanship, or sectarianism had no place among the people of the same house, each individual revived his rituals and occasions in an atmosphere of tolerance and reassurance, gathered by the love of this land, sincerity of its leadership, and the concern for social peace.
These values were not born from a vacuum, but rather rooted in the conscience of this people, and inherited generation after generation. Today, the Kingdom still emphasizes this spirit through what His Majesty the great king, may God protect and preserve him, attaches to the occasion of Ashura, in emphasizing respect for religious and sectarian diversity, and enhancing the values of tolerance and openness in the shadow of a fixed civilized approach.
In the same context, the government continues, headed by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, the Prime Minister, may God protect him, its efforts in harnessing the official, security and service capabilities to ensure the establishment of religious rituals in a safe and organized atmosphere, which reflects the image of Bahrain as a model to preserve religious freedoms and consolidate the principles of national unity and mutual respect among all components of society.
The speech of His Excellency the Minister of the Interior came during his meeting with the heads of funerals, to establish these values, stressing the importance of national awareness, and the role of everyone in preserving public order, especially in light of the exceptional circumstances that the region is going through, which requires more solidarity and commitment.
The most important message, in my appreciation, was reminding the historical role of the Bahraini families who inherited the responsibility and preserved it through generations, in a framework of tolerance, coexistence and solidarity that includes citizens and residents alike. In every forbidden season, Bahrain proves that it is not only a homeland of diversity, but it is a rare model for the conscious coexistence that generations inherit, sponsored by the state, and society commanded it, so that this country remains a title of unity made by love and guarded by consciousness.
