The Saudi Press Agency reported, on Sunday, that Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz received a phone call from the head of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Abdul Rahim Mousavi.
During the call, the bilateral relations between the two countries were reviewed in the defensive field, and the developments of the situation in the region and the efforts made to maintain security and stability were discussed.
The Saudi Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, had made in mid -June a phone call to Iranian President Masoud Bouchakian.
The Saudi Crown Prince in contact expressed his condolences and sympathy for his luxury, the brotherly Iranian people and the families of the deceased who fell as a result of the Israeli attacks on Iran, “according to the Saudi Press Agency.
Prince Muhammad bin Salman also renewed at the time, “The Kingdom’s condemnation and denunciation of these attacks that affect Iran’s sovereignty and security, as well as a violation of international laws and norms.”
