The “Falcons” team won the first place in the third round of the Bahrain Summer Open 3×3 basketball championship, after its deserved victory in the final match at the expense of Al -Muharraq Club 18 against 13, in a busy meeting in the club held at the Zain Hall.
The Falcons victory came after a strong performance throughout the round stages, as the team succeeded in imposing its control, taking advantage of the clear harmony between its elements, and the ability to decide in the decisive moments of confrontations, especially in the semi -finals and the final.
The third round witnessed the full participation of the 24 teams registered in the tournament, which reflects the continuation of the great momentum and the wide turnout in the first version of the championship organized by the Bahrain Basketball Federation, under the direct supervision of the International Federation of the game (FIBA), within the framework of the development of the game in the form of 3×3 in the Kingdom.
The victory of the “Falcons” team in Al -Juba reflects the great competition in the tournament rounds after the coronation of the sword team in the first round and “BS Action” in the second round.
The first and second rounds have also witnessed a complete participation of the teams, knowing that each team can participate in three rounds as a minimum out of six rehabilitation rounds, through which the qualifying points for the major final round (Quest) and scheduled to be held on August 1.
It is noteworthy that the tournament has integrated technical and organizational support by the Bahrain Basketball Federation, in light of a strategy that aims to consolidate Bahrain’s presence on the map of 3×3 championships at the regional and international levels, especially after the remarkable development in the international classification of the Kingdom during the current year.
The preparations are currently continuing for the fourth round of the tournament, which is expected to bear more excitement and competition between the participating teams, in the way of qualifying for the final round that will determine the champion of the first version of the open summer championship.
