The American authorities deported an Egyptian citizen after being convicted of kicking a customs dog while performing his work at Dolis International Airport near Washington, which resulted in his injury, according to the BBC.
The report indicated that the 70 -year -old Egyptian, the Egyptian accused, admitted to the court that he kicked the dog “Freddy”, who works with American customs in searching for the banned agricultural materials, after the dog monitored luggage containing more than 45 kilograms of food, and arrived on a journey coming from Cairo.
During the luggage inspection, meat, rice, vegetables, herbs and seeds were found, materials that are prohibited from entering the country for fear of being transferred to diseases that threaten the natural environment and local agriculture.

The criminal complaint stated that the accident occurred at six thirty in the morning in the area of receiving the luggage, where the dog and his companions approached the Egyptian bag, and after a short dialogue with the officer, he kicked the dog with a force that made him rise in the air.
After appearing before the court, Al -Masry was convicted of assaulting an animal used in law enforcement missions, and he was sentenced to prison for a period equivalent to the period he spent detained, and he was obliged to pay 840 dollars as the costs of veterinary treatment for the dog.
The reports noted that the next day, the deportation decision was carried out and was returned to Egypt on a departure plane from Washington.
