The films shown in cinemas continue to achieve various revenues in the box office, after adding the latest cinematic works, the most prominent of which is a movie in Ezz Al -Dahr, starring the international artist Mina Masoud, and the project X starring the artist Karim Abdel Aziz, and Restart starring the artist Tamer Hosni.
Film revenues in the cinema
The film distributor Mahmoud Al -Dafrawi said in statements to Cairo 24, that the films shown in the cinema witnessed on Thursday 26 June 2025 a noticeable recovery in revenues, as the total daily revenue recorded about 3 million and 300 thousand pounds, an increase of 26.49% compared to the previous day, in a clear indication of the increasing audience’s demand.
The X project, starring the artist Karim Abdel Aziz, maintained the lead, achieving 1,546,213 pounds, with a remarkable increase of 29.99%, and a public presence of 11,053 viewers.
Restart movie revenues
In second place, Restart, starring the artist Tamer Hosni, continued its strong performance with revenues of 1,242,680 pounds, with an increase of 18.91%, with a number of attendees of 8,970 viewers.
As for the movie in Ezz Al -Dahr, starring the artist Mina Masoud, it achieved a clear leap, recording 414,592 pounds, with an increase of 29.85%, in the presence of 2,823 viewers, while the Seiko Seko movie recorded the surprise, as its revenues increased by 74.9%, achieving 96,696 pounds, with a number of attendance of 712 viewers, in reference to the escalation of interest in it gradually.
X project movie
The story revolves around a police officer who is fighting an international gang that escapes antiquities across several European countries, meets a young girl working as a submarine in the Red Sea and lives in El Gouna, and together they are fighting many situations and adventures during their journey.
