The White House accused Ali Khamenei of trying to “save his face”, after the Iranian guide reduced the impact of American strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities.

Khamenei, on Thursday, said that the United States “did not achieve any achievement” in the strikes it launched against Iran during the war between it and Israel. Stressing that Iran directed a “slap on the face of America.”
Khamenei considered in a televised statement, that US President Donald Trump was “needed to” review “, noting that Washington exaggerated the results of its attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities, and said:” Washington “inflated” the importance of its attacks on our nuclear facilities and we made a strong blow to it.
He pointed out that his country has proven its ability to target the American bases in the region, noting that the attack on the “many” base has caused severe damage.
He continued: “Any targeting of Iran will be met with the repetition of targeting the American bases.”
Khamenei said, “Any aggression in the future over Iran will be a fatal price,” adding that the Iranian armed forces “succeeded in penetrating the Israeli multi -class defenses, and hit military and urban areas inside Israel.”
The Iranian guide added that the strikes carried out by Iran “destroyed the Israeli military capabilities,” stressing that Tel Aviv “was not imagining the possibility of receiving such harsh strikes from Tehran.”
