Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, with the high directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the king of the country, when His Majesty presents the exceptional meeting of the Council of Ministers, stressing that it represents a beacon of the wise and effective Bahraini diplomacy, aimed at strengthening the principles of solidarity, security and regional and global peace, embodying the insightful vision of His Majesty the great king and its wise leadership and its approach Humanity, and continuous support from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Prime Minister.
The Foreign Minister emphasized that this royal vision constitutes a comprehensive road map for the priorities of the foreign policy of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and embodies firm human and civilizational values, based on the principles of moderation, openness, coexistence and mutual respect, and supports the sovereignty of states and lack of interference in their internal affairs, commitment to international law, and enhancing the resolution of disputes by diplomatic dialogue and peaceful ways, noting that this wise high approach aims to promote peace Security, stability and development at the regional and international levels.
The Minister praised the wise and pro -king of His Majesty to resolve conflicts through dialogue, negotiation, peaceful and diplomatic means, noting that His Majesty welcomed the announcement of His Excellency US President Donald Trump about reaching an agreement to a comprehensive ceasefire between Iran and Israel, so that he would spare the states and peoples of the region from the dangers of wars.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed that the Kingdom of Bahrain, within the framework of its wise diplomatic approach led by His Majesty the King, believes that the solution to crises and disputes is the best way to ensure peace, security, stability and prosperity for all the peoples of the region. He expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s support for any diplomatic effort or endeavor for dialogue between the countries of the Cooperation Council and the Islamic Republic of Iran, stressing the historical ties, the bonds of brotherhood, neighborhood, religion, and common interests that unite the countries of the region.
He added that commitment to comprehensive peace and regional cooperation would establish a new era based on the values of tolerance, peace and coexistence, thus enhancing constructive regional cooperation for a safer, peaceful and prosperous future for all countries and peoples of the region.
