The Iranian Fars News Agency reported today, Wednesday, that the Iranian authorities arrested 700 people accused of being agents in favor of Israel during the 12 -day conflict.

The agency stated that these mercenaries, who were mainly active in spying and sabotage networks, were identified and arrested based on communications by citizens and intelligence operations.
The Israeli Mossad Intelligence Service acknowledged the role of its secret elements in Iran as part of the rising Assad operation, which started on June 13 with unprecedented strikes inside Iranian territory.
Mossad presented footage showing the work of its secret agents behind the Iranian Airlines before the implementation of the strikes, which included the establishment of a base to launch aircraft on targets from inside Iran.
These moves have sparked a state of panic within the Iranian government and its security services, which began arresting dozens of people on charges of spreading support materials to Israel via the Internet, describing this as a threat to the psychological security of society.
During the conflict period, a new unit was created within the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Tehran to monitor Iranian media and personal social media accounts.
According to Fares Agency, arrests were carried out throughout Iran, including the provinces of Karmanshah, Isfahan, Khuzestan, Faris and Lorstan, while details have not yet been published about the number of alleged Israeli spies arrested in the capital, Tehran.
In the same context, other Iranian media reported that several death sentences have been implemented against Israel since the beginning of the conflict.
