Mohamed Salem Ould Marzuk, Mauritanian Minister of Foreign Affairs, held talks yesterday, Sunday, with Ahmed Ataf, the Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, on the sidelines of the fifty -first session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation held in Istanbul, Turkey.
The talks touched, according to the Mauritanian News Agency, to strengthen and develop bilateral relations between the two countries to serve common interests.
The two ministers exchanged views on issues of common concern, foremost of which are the developments taking place in the Middle East.
