Until recently, trade in Bahrain was almost limited to men, with the exception of some individual attempts by bold women who were involved in commercial work, and we have succeeded in proving their capabilities. Today, the scene changes, as Bahraini women are in the battle of entrepreneurship with consciousness and ambition, driven by a real desire to make a difference within their community.
According to the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, about 45 % of individual institutions are owned by women, and their activities are distributed between the food trade, design and sewing of clothing, beauty salons, the sale of perfumes and accessories, and other fields.
At the heart of this transformation, supportive institutions stand, perhaps the most prominent of which is the Supreme Council for Women, which continues its role in caring for entrepreneurs and motivating them to innovate, as it announced the launch of the fifth edition of the “Excellence” initiative, which aims to highlight the achievements of the distinguished Bahraini women in the field of entrepreneurship. This motivation is not a luxury, but rather a fundamental motivation in the march of many of them towards superiority outside the limits of the local market. For example, one of the pioneers with her products reached clients from east and west, such as the Queen of Jordan and the Queen of Britain, and another that expanded the scope of her project to the large Saudi market with confidence, and both of them who have had a “concession” seal.
From here, the announcement of Her Highness Sheikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairman of the “Excellence Initiative” committee, comes from the launch of her fifth session, based on generous directives from Her Royal Highness Princess Sabika bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, the wife of the country’s great monarch, head of the Supreme Council for Women, may God protect her, so that the process of support and motivation for Bahrain An option, but rather a necessity to open wider horizons for women who have proven their worth in the workplace and production.
On the other hand, we know that some women may not know the commercial projects registered with their names directly, but I see that just their approval to register the commercial registry in their names in favor of their relatives of men, such as their husbands, children, or their parents, so that they provide them with the legal cover, is an invalid support to the family, and it is inevitably a sincere form of family loyalty and the integration of family members in order to improve the economic reality in order to improve the economic reality. And build a more stable future.
Single flying
Repeated import of external crises and inserting them inside in terms of national, religious or sectarian sympathy, is annoying and weighing the shoulders of a small country such as Bahrain, but rather disturbed security and stability in it, which is inevitably an emotion, not responsible and exaggeration in dealing with news and events that do not seek directly and have nothing to do with it.
