The latest data for the Ministry of Communications and Communications regarding the movement of passengers, aircraft and air freight during May revealed that 74,4625 passengers “seven hundred and forty -four thousand six hundred and twenty five passengers” used Bahrain International Airport last May.
According to the data, the number of passengers coming to Bahrain International Airport reached 368,539 passengers, while the number of departures through the airport reached 37,5405 passengers, while the number of “transit” passengers reached 681 passengers.
With regard to the movement of aircraft, the statistics published through the official account of the Ministry on the Instagram platform have shown that the number of flights reached 8568 flights through Bahrain International Airport; 4276 coming flights and 4292 departure flights during May 2025, while the number of transit aircraft reached 45,456 aircraft.
With regard to the air freight movement at Bahrain International Airport during May 2025, the incoming shipping reached 14020 tons, while the shipping was 8670 tons, while transit shipping reached 11888 tons, with a total of 34,578 tons during the month.
The data also indicated that the United Arab Emirates and India exported the most visited destinations for the number of travelers for the month of May 2025 compared to May 2024, where the percentage of increasing travelers to the United Arab Emirates reached 23% in May 2025 by 77,470 passengers, while the percentage of increased travelers to India «Bangalore) during May 2025 compared to May 2024, 83% by 15002 passengers.
