Headed by Ahmed bin Salman Al -Muslim, Chairman of the House of Representatives, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Parliamentary Division, the delegation of the Parliamentary Division of the Kingdom of Bahrain will participate in the meeting scheduled for tomorrow (Monday) in the Emirati capital Abu Dhabi, between His Excellency and Excellency the heads of the Shura Councils, Representatives, National and Nation in the Gulf Cooperation Council states with His Excellency Mrs. Roberta Mitsola, President of the European Parliament.
This high -level meeting will be held in response to an official invitation from Saqr Ghobash, President of the Federal National Council of the sisterly United Arab Emirates, in conjunction with a vital stage in bilateral relations, between the Gulf states and the European Union, where this Gulf parliamentary movement emphasizes the mutual keenness to activate the path of parliamentary diplomacy, and provide full support to the common interests of the countries of the Cooperation Council, especially at the economic and developmental levels.
The European Gulf parliamentary meeting also comes in the context of implementing the decision of the heads of the Gulf legislative councils issued during their eighteenth periodic meeting, which was held in Abu Dhabi on November 12, 2024, with the aim of strengthening the European Gulf parliamentary dialogue in issues of common concern between the two sides.
The delegation, headed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, will include: Representative Ahmed Sabah Al -Salloum, member Ijal Issa Bou Beshit, member of the Shura Council, and Eng. Muhammad Ibrahim Al -Sisi Al -Buainain, Secretary -General of the House of Representatives.
