Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hanu, Minister of Culture, Sir Dr. Magdy Yaqoub, received the global heart surgeon, before the start of the celebration organized by the Ministry of Culture to honor him, and to announce the details of the statue of the “Doctor of Hearts” designed by the Egyptian sculptor Dr. Essam Darwish, in appreciation of his exceptional contributions in the fields of medicine and humanitarian work.

The Minister of Culture expressed his pride and pride in organizing this celebration, which embodies the appreciation of the Egyptian state to its children who raised its name in international forums, stressing that culture and art have a major role in immortalizing the symbols of scientific and humanitarian giving, and consolidating their presence in the conscience of society.
He added that the establishment of a statue that immortalizes this unique giving, within the framework of an initiative that carries high cultural, artistic and national dimensions, noting that the statue represents a symbol of fulfillment and recognition of the beautiful, and expresses gratitude for a busy medical march during which Magdy Yaqoub presented a unique model of mercy, dedication and sincerity.
Dr. Hano stressed that the Ministry of Culture is continuing to support such initiatives that highlight the symbols of national giving, and is devoted to the values of appreciation and role model, in a way that contributes to the inspiration of new generations and the promotion of national affiliation.
